Hello, Dear guests! Thank you for your interest in Kyoto! Just as London and Rome have cultural backgrounds from multiple eras, Kyoto also possesses multiple diverse elements. There are samurai, ancient Asian cultures completely different from samurai, and even religions unique to Japan. Then,I'm not from Kyoto. I moved here from Tokyo. I fell in love with Kyoto so much that I moved here. I've lived in Kyoto for 8 years, visited 600 tourist and historical sites, obtained a Level 2 Kyoto Knowledge Certification, and am currently aiming for Level 1. But there are 2000 temples in Kyoto! (lol) *This is a test of knowledge about Kyoto. I didn't know these things! I learned them through studying.
