Overview
Sie sitzen an einer niedrigen Werkbank, umgeben von Stapeln gefalteter Stoffe, Garnrollen und den wunderschönen, fertigen Paaren Sandalen, die an der Wand aufgereiht sind. Im Atelier liegt ein Hauch von frischer Baumwolle und altem Holz in der Luft. Diese Schuhmachertechnik wird seit Generationen praktiziert, und nun dürfen Sie selbst Hand anlegen.
Die meisten Werkstätten in Tokio überreichen Ihnen ein Souvenir und nennen es ein Handwerkserlebnis. Hier erhalten Sie ein Paar Sandalen, die Sie selbst gefertigt haben!
