Hi, I’m Marielle! I’m a teacher and tour guide who has proudly called Japan home for the past 13 years. I love meeting people from around the world and sharing the places, traditions, and hidden gems that make this country so special. I’m very active and enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s exploring historic neighborhoods, visiting beautiful gardens and temples, or discovering local spots that many visitors overlook. My background as a teacher helps me make each tour engaging, informative, and easy to follow. I enjoy sharing cultural insights, fascinating history, local stories, and practical tips that help visitors experience Japan beyond the typical tourist attractions. What makes my tours different is my friendly, personal approach. Every experience is tailored to my guests’ interests, whether you’re passionate about history, food, photography, nature, or simply want to explore like a local. Although I’m new to Withlocals, I’m not new to guiding. I recently joined the platform, which is why you won’t see many reviews here just yet.
