Hey! I’m Gayatri (you can call me Gayu😉) — your friendly Kyoto tour buddy. 🏯🌸🤗 I’m a student at Kyoto University🎓, but more importantly, I’m obsessed with this city. My favorite spots? Definitely Arashiyama’s bamboo paths🎋, sunrise at Fushimi Inari, hike to Daimonji⛰️, the peaceful gardens at Nanzenji and Eikando🍀, and the stunning beauty of Kiyomizudera, Ginkakuji, and Kinkakuji🏯. Oh, and Sanjusangendo’s 1,001 statues? Mind-blowing.🤯 When it comes to food — I go from cute to crazy😆. I love a good local onigiri🍙, takoyaki🐙, maze soba🍜, and my favorite small sushi place owned by a sweet elderly couple🍣… But if you're adventurous, I’ve got just the place — ever tried horse sashimi, charcoal trout, grasshoppers, bee larvae, or wild boar hotpot😆? Yup, I know a restaurant that serves it all😌(and yes, I’ve tried most of it 🙈).
