We really enjoyed the tour!. It was nice visiting areas that aren’t your typical tourist locations. It was nice getting away from the crowds and we particularly loved going ‘behind the scenes’ to more authentic areas and actually being more with the locals than just visitors. We are now officially sake fans!

With my tour guide Mariana this tour consisted of visiting Tofuku-ji, Fushimi Inari, and the sake district of Fushimi. Each of Tofuku-ji and Fushimi Inari are heavenly. Anyone considering taking this tour would be for a great experience in these places and I strongly recommend this. If time allows sake testing in the Fushimi district is a very good way of ending the tour at some very old distilleries.
