Create your own hand-dyed tenugui (towel) at the only dyehouse in Tokyo, where techniques have been used since 1952.Key Facts
Overview

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dyed, as the dye may stain. Avoid light-colored clothing. Aprons are provided by the studio, but do not cover everything.
The studio requires at least two guests per session, so solo bookings are not available on their own. If you are traveling alone, you can use the TOMOGO! App or email us to see if there is an existing group you can join. Your Local Expert can also recommend similar workshops that accept single guests.
