Friendly, easy to talk to, and full of knowledge about the area

Dean was a great guide. We did a 3 hour walking tour and we were able to get in so many sites on the tour! He has great knowledge of the city and Japanese culture. Highly recommend!

Navigating Kyoto can be overwhelming with the crowds, fatigue, and the challenge of deciding where to go and what to see, but having Dean with us made everything so much easier. He took the stress out of planning, guided us smoothly, and explained local customs in a clear and engaging way. What stood out even more was his kindness—he went out of his way to help me with a personal situation that required translation at our hotel, even though we had just met. That level of care and support meant a lot to us, and we truly appreciated his help.
