Overview
70年以上の歴史を誇る東京唯一の染め物工房、高田馬場にて、伝統的な曳染（ひきぞめ）を体験していただけます。工房に展示されている絹の着物も、同じ曳染技法を用いて作られています。熟練の職人の指導のもと、お好みのデザインを選び、手ぬぐいに曳染を施します。完成した作品は乾燥後、その日のうちにお持ち帰りいただけます。
ワークショップ後には、地元のエキスパートが高田馬場のおすすめスポットへご案内し、この地域ならではの情報をお伝えします。

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dyed, as the dye may stain. Avoid light-colored clothing. Aprons are provided by the studio, but do not cover everything.
The studio requires at least two guests per session, so solo bookings are not available on their own. If you are traveling alone, you can use the TOMOGO! App or email us to see if there is an existing group you can join. Your Local Expert can also recommend similar workshops that accept single guests.
