Day 1 - Tokyo: Arrival in Japan
Check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the night in.
Day 2 - Tokyo: Asakusa and Yanesen
Begin your Tokyo discovery in Asakusa, one of the city’s most culturally significant and atmospheric districts.
Stroll through the lively streets surrounding the historic Kaminari mon Gate, where traditional shops, local sweets, and artisan crafts provide a warm and inviting introduction to old Tokyo.
Continue on to Sensoji Temple, admired for its striking architecture and profound spiritual heritage. Take your time exploring the temple grounds, where drifting incense and centuries old rituals create an unforgettable sense of history.
From Asakusa, enjoy a leisurely riverside walk along the Sumida River, taking in picturesque views of landmarks such as the Tokyo Skytree and the Asahi Beer Building. The blend of historic charm and modern design offers a beautifully balanced panorama.
In the afternoon, head to Yanaka, one of Tokyo’s few districts that has remained largely untouched by redevelopment. Wander through quiet backstreets lined with family run shops, small craft boutiques, and long established sweet stores. Its nostalgic, down to earth atmosphere offers a rare glimpse into Tokyo life from decades past.
Conclude your day at the serene Nezu Shrine, known for its vivid vermilion torii gates and lush seasonal gardens. Take a moment to appreciate the tranquility before ending your exploration of Tokyo’s most evocative neighborhoods.
Day 3 - Tokyo: Harajuku and Daikanyama
Begin at Harajuku Station and walk through the serene forest that leads to Meiji Jingu Shrine. Take time to learn about Shinto traditions and the shrine’s historical significance before enjoying lunch at one of the many restaurants in the neighborhood.
Afterward, make your way to Shibuya for photos, and if you’d like, stop by the Starbucks overlooking the iconic Shibuya Crossing for a great view of the action below.
Continue on to Daikanyama, known for its stylish boutiques and relaxed atmosphere. Visit Tsutaya Books, considered one of the finest bookstores in the world, and stop by Kyu Asakura House, a beautifully preserved wooden residence from pre war Tokyo.
Day 4 - Yamanashi: Explore Mt. Fuji & Kawaguchiko
Arrive at Shinjuku Station and board an express train bound for Mt. Fuji Station.
Upon arrival, begin exploring the area’s historically and culturally significant sites, discovering hidden gems that many travelers overlook.
Enjoy stunning, uncrowded viewpoints of Mt. Fuji, where you can take in breathtaking panoramic views of Japan’s most iconic peak weather permitting.
Day 5 - Kyoto: Geisha and Street Food Market
Begin your day in Kyoto with a visit to a historic Zen temple, where you can absorb the serene atmosphere and learn about the temple’s rich history and cultural importance.
Next, make your way to Nishiki Market, often referred to as “Kyoto’s Kitchen.” Wander through its lively corridors lined with local food stalls, sampling everything from savory grilled skewers to sweet matcha treats, and browse for unique Kyoto-made souvenirs.
In the afternoon, take a leisurely stroll through the Gion District, renowned for its traditional wooden machiya houses and beautifully preserved streets. Experience the timeless charm of old Kyoto and imagine how the city looked centuries ago.
Day 6 - Kyoto: Temples and Culture
Begin your day at a Buddhist temple renowned for its hall of 1,000 statues of Kannon, the Buddhist goddess of mercy.
Afterward, visit another historic Buddhist temple dedicated to a famous warlord. The temple features a tranquil Zen garden and a small bamboo grove, offering a peaceful setting for reflection.
Continue your exploration by strolling through the backstreets of Kyoto’s Historical District, where century-old wooden houses line both sides of the street. Stop for a break at a unique Starbucks housed in a beautifully restored traditional building. Afterward, enjoy browsing the many small shops that stretch toward Yasaka Pagoda, offering a variety of local crafts and souvenirs.
Conclude your day at Kiyomizu dera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its grand wooden stage overlooking the city. As you make your way up to the temple, wander along the charming approach lined with traditional shops and food stalls, creating an authentic and memorable Kyoto experience.
Day 7 - Tokyo: Shimokitazawa
Check out of your hotel and take the bullet train back to Tokyo.
Spend your final day in Shimokitazawa, one of Tokyo’s most bohemian and creative neighborhoods. This eclectic district is filled with vintage clothing stores, record shops, live music venues, grunge style bars, and cozy local cafés, offering a relaxed and artistic atmosphere perfect for exploring at your own pace.
Day 8 - Tour Ends: Departure from Japan
Check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport. Finally, board your flight and depart Japan!

Cancellation Policy
We understand plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows: 90+ days before departure: 80% refund, 20% deposit held as credit. 60-89 days before departure: 50% refund. 7-59 days before departure: 20% refund. Less than 7 days before departure: No refund. Once a tour is booked, no refund of deposit (20% of the total charge). Failure to make full payment within 30 days of your tour start date may result in cancellation without refund of the deposit. If your tour is canceled due to severe weather or unforeseen circumstances, we will refund all payments except the deposit. If inclement weather (e.g., a typhoon) disrupts your trip, we offer a ¥20,000 contribution to cover unexpected hotel or transport costs.
