1. Introduction​​​

Welcome to TANGLE Inc. ("the Company"). We are a Japan-based tour company dedicated to providing immersive and authentic travel experiences. By booking a tour or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions("Terms"). Please read them carefully before making a booking.

2. Tour Bookings​

  2.1 Booking Process​

• A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation.

• After receiving your deposit, we will send a detailed tour proposal with itinerary, inclusions, and costs.

• Once you confirm, we will provide a payment link for the final amount. Full payment is due 30 days before the tour.

• Major changes to your itinerary must be made at least 30 days before the tour start date.

  2.2 Changes & Cancellations​

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your tour:

​

• 90 days or more before departure – Your 20% deposit will be held as credit for future use, and the remaining 80% will be refunded.

• 60 to 89 days before departure – A cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking cost applies.

• 7 to 59 days before departure – A cancellation fee of 80% of the total booking cost applies.

• Less than 7 days before departure – No refund will be issued.

If full payment is not received 30 days before your tour start date, we may cancel your tour without refunding the deposit.

For cancellations due to severe weather, natural disasters, or Company-related reasons, we will issue a full refund, excluding the deposit. If a tour is affected by bad weather (e.g., a typhoon), we will contribute ¥20,000 to cover unforeseen changes in hotel bookings or transportation. Any additional costs will be the traveler’s responsibility.

  2.3 Tour Prices​

Tour prices are based on the itinerary and inclusions at the time of booking. Prices may change due to currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, or government taxes. If there are significant changes, you will be notified before payment is due and given the option to cancel without penalty.

  2.4 Tour Inclusions & Exclusions​

Each tour includes:

✔ Activities & cultural experiences
✔ Pre-arranged local transportation
✔ Accommodations
✔ TOMOGO! Premium’s agency fee

Not included: Travel to/from Japan, visas, insurance, and personal expenses.

3. Liability​

• The Company is not liable for personal injury, death, or loss of personal property during the tour.

• Guests are responsible for their own safety and belongings.

• The Company reserves the right to make itinerary changes due to weather, road closures, or other circumstances beyond our control.

• If we must cancel a tour, a full refund (excluding deposits) will be issued. However, we are not responsible for additional costs such as flights or accommodations.

4. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover medical expenses, cancellations, or lost/stolen property.

5. Data Protection​

We respect your privacy. Your personal information will be handled according to Japan’s data protection laws and our Privacy Policy.

6. Governing Law​

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and any disputes will be settled in Japanese courts.

7. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises, we will first attempt to resolve it through friendly negotiations. If necessary, disputes may be settled through mediation or arbitration.

8. Entire Agreement

These Terms represent the entire agreement between you and the Company, superseding all previous agreements. Any modifications must be in writing.

 

By booking a tour, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
