My name is Li, and I live in Tokyo. I worked as an overseas sales manager for over 15 years, where I developed strong communication skills while working with people from different countries and cultural backgrounds. Currently, I work as a freelance translator and tour guide, combining my language skills with my passion for introducing Japan to international visitors. Travel has always been my greatest passion. Whenever I visit a new place, I enjoy discovering not only its famous landmarks but also its history, local culture, and everyday life. This curiosity inspires me to continue learning about Japan so that I can provide my guests with authentic and memorable experiences. To deepen my knowledge of tourism, I obtained a Domestic Tour Conductor Certificate. I am also studying for the Shinto Knowledge Certification because I believe that understanding Japan’s traditions and beliefs helps visitors appreciate the country on a much deeper level. As a guide, my goal is not simply to show people where to go, but to help them understand why each place is special. Whether I am explaining the history behind a landmark, introducing local customs, or recommending hidden gems loved by local residents, I hope every guest leaves Japan with meaningful memories and a genuine connection to the country. I believe Japan is a fascinating country where centuries of tradition and cutting-edge innovation exist side by side.
