Overview
You sit at a low workbench surrounded by stacks of folded fabric, spools of cord, and the beautiful finished pairs all lined up along the wall. The studio smells faintly of fresh cotton and old wood. This shoe making technique has been in practice for generations and now you get to step up to the table.
Most workshops in Tokyo hand you a souvenir and call it a craft experience. This one gives you a pair of sandals you made yourself!
