Tokyo has one of the most interesting coffee scenes in the world. It runs from kissaten that opened in the 1960s and have barely changed since, to specialty roasteries that have shaped how the rest of the industry thinks about extraction and sourcing.
This tour moves through both. Your Local Expert picks the stops based on the neighborhood and what is worth your time. They handle the ordering, the context, and anything that needs local knowledge to get right.
Before the tour, your Local Expert will reach out through the TOMOGO! app to find out if you have any dietary restrictions or preferences. The tour runs for roughly two to three hours and covers ground on foot between stops.

The tour was a lot of fun. Akana was lovely to meet. I had a great time. She showed me parts of Tokyo I wouldn't of found on my own. She took me to two Kissaten, both unique places with only locals. If you want a non touristy tour, with a tour guide with Chilled vibes, choose Akana :)
In two hours we were able to comfortably travel to and sit down at two cafes. Without feeling like a tour, we got to experience and learn about Japanese culture in a way that felt authentic.

Cancellations or date changes made up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled tour start time are permitted and will be fully refunded.
To qualify for a full refund, cancellations must be made no later than 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the experience.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time are non-refundable.
Changes requested less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time will not be accepted.
All deadlines are based on the local time of the experience.
