Kyoto Walking Tour: Main Attractions & Hidden Gems

Great tour and an easy 5 stars. We saw hidden spots we never would have found ourselves, tried great local snacks, and visited some unique local shrines, shops and photo spots. Our guide Jake was friendly, relaxed, very knowledgeable, and flexible to what we wanted from the tour. He also went above and beyond with restaurant recommendations and reservation for later that evening and tips for the rest of our time in the city. Highly recommended if you want a more authentic side of Kyoto.

Dean was an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable guide who made us feel comfortable right away. Navigating Kyoto can be overwhelming with the crowds, fatigue, and the challenge of deciding where to go and what to see, but having Dean with us made everything so much easier. He took the stress out of planning, guided us smoothly, and explained local customs in a clear and engaging way. What stood out even more was his kindness—he went out of his way to help me with a personal situation that required translation at our hotel, even though we had just met. That level of care and support meant a lot to us, and we truly appreciated his help.
