Itinerary

Day 1 - Tokyo: Arrival in Japan
  • Arrive at the airport and transfer to hotel via private car.

  • Check-in to your hotel and enjoy an Omakase sushi dinner.

  • Night in Tokyo

Day 2 - Tokyo: Skytree & Historic Asakusa
  • Tokyo Skytree, Japan’s tallest structure, and admire sweeping views of the city skyline while appreciating its innovative architectural design.

  • Next, stroll through the historic district of Asakusa. Visit Sensoji Temple, Tokyo’s oldest and most iconic temple, and wander Nakamise Street to sample traditional snacks and street food.

  • As evening falls, make your way to nearby Ueno for a sukiyaki dinner at a local restaurant, an elegant end to a day full of contrast and culture.

  • Night in Tokyo

Day 3 - Nagano: Snow Monkeys & Onsen
  • Check out and transfer to Tokyo Station. Take the bullet train up north to Nagano and enjoy seeing the Japanese countryside from your window.   

  • Have lunch and then hike up the Yudo Promenade to Jigokudani Valley to visit the fascinating Yaen-koen Snow Monkey Park! 

  • Observe a unique geography of steep cliffs and steam rising from naturally occurring hot springs. Japanese snow monkeys take refuge from the elements in these hot pools. See a family of monkeys relaxing if you’re lucky! 

  • Enjoy a Kaiseki dinner at your Ryokan.

  • Night in Nagano.

Day 4 - Nagano: Skiing & Mountain Leisure
  • A private car will pick you up and take you to the rental ski shop. Spend the day skiing at your leisure.

Day 5 - Hakuba: Alpine Ski Adventure
  • Check out from your hotel and transfer to Hakuba, a beautiful village in the Japanese Alps perfect for skiing.

  • Spend the day skiing at your leisure.

  • Night in Hakuba.

Day 6 - Hakuba: Ski & Relax
  • Spend the day skiing at your leisure.

  • Spend the day skiing at your leisure.

Day 8 - Tokyo: Urban Exploration & Night Views
  • Check out of your hotel and transfer to Nagano station by private car (1 hour 10 minutes), get bullet train back to Tokyo. 

  • Spend the afternoon exploring the Omotesando area and the backstreets of Harajuku, stroll through the tranquil neighborhoods behind the vibrant streets, enjoy some shopping, and pick up souvenirs. 

  • Later, head to Shibuya Sky. Take the elevator up to the 47th floor to enjoy panoramic views from the observation deck. Then, unwind at the rooftop bar with a cozy seat and soak in the breathtaking city lights as night falls.

  • Night in Tokyo.

Day 9 - Tokyo: Kawagoe & Sushi Making
  • Take a day trip to Kawagoe, often called "Little Edo" for its well-preserved historical streets and nostalgic charm.

  • Stroll through the old merchant district lined with traditional warehouses and sweet shops, and soak in the atmosphere of Japan’s past.

  • Then, join a hands-on sushi-making experience where you’ll learn to craft your own rolls under the guidance of a local chef—a fun and delicious way to connect with Japanese culture.

  • Night in Tokyo.

Day 10 - Tour Ends: Departure from Japan

Check out of your hotel and take a private car to the airport. Finally, board your flight and depart Japan!

  • The first and last day of the tour are reserved for arrival and departure, with no scheduled activities.

  • More hidden gems will be revealed in the final itinerary provided after booking.

  • Itinerary details, including activities, inclusions, and timings, may change based on weather conditions and availability.

  • Please inform us of any dietary restrictions, allergies, or any other medical conditions to be aware of prior to the tour departure.

Cancellation Policy

We understand plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows: ​ 90+ days before departure: 80% refund, 20% deposit held as credit. 60-89 days before departure: 50% refund. 7-59 days before departure: 20% refund. Less than 7 days before departure: No refund. ​ ​Once a tour is booked, no refund of deposit (20% of the total charge). ​ Failure to make full payment within 30 days of your tour start date may result in cancellation without refund of the deposit. ​ If your tour is canceled due to severe weather or unforeseen circumstances, we will refund all payments except the deposit. If inclement weather (e.g., a typhoon) disrupts your trip, we offer a ¥20,000 contribution to cover unexpected hotel or transport costs.
