Experience the Essence of a Japanese Resort in Ginza: fufu Tokyo To Be Open This Winter, 2025
The Fragrance of Tradition, Gardens, and Hot Springs: A Japanese Resort in Ginza

This winter, fufu Tokyo (Available in English) will open at the Ginza Itchome crossing. With direct access from Tokyo Metro Ginza-itchome Station, the property offers a serene and open space where the four seasons, Japanese tradition, and modern sensibilities quietly intersect, despite being in the heart of the city.
The guest rooms are designed with flower gardens and seasonal plants, creating interiors infused with the Japanese aesthetic. Surrounded by natural fragrances and gentle sounds, guests can enjoy a sense of time flowing more slowly, offering a luxurious retreat in central Tokyo.
Dining will feature seasonal Japanese cuisine that makes use of ingredients and blessings from across Japan.
All Guestrooms Feature Natural Hot Springs from Atami
All 34 guestrooms come with private hot spring baths using natural waters transported from Atami Onsen: a hot spring once loved by Tokugawa Ieyasu, who is said to have brought its waters all the way to Edo Castle. Revered as a healing spring for centuries, Atami Onsen remains a source of fascination.
Atami is also where the fufu brand began, making this connection deeply symbolic. Guests can now experience the essence of this historic onsen, long cherished as the “inner sanctum of Kanto,” while staying in the heart of Ginza.
About fufu JAPAN
With the concept of “A Place to Savor Time,” fufu is a small luxury brand with only eight properties across Japan. In 2024, at the first-ever Michelin Key Awards held in Asia to recognize outstanding accommodations, seven fufu properties were awarded, the highest number for a single brand.
Each property offers natural hot springs in every guest room, cuisine highlighting local ingredients, spaces designed for privacy, and attentive yet discreet hospitality. Guests can enjoy deeply memorable experiences, cherishing the flow of time itself.
