The Yanaka Antique Market brings a curated collection of vintage treasures to Tokyo’s nostalgic Yanaka neighborhood. Visitors can find unique antiques and vintage items amid the historic backdrop of the Enmeiin Temple. A magnificent 600-year-old shii tree watches over the market, linking the past with the present.


After shopping, enjoy the nearby Yanaka Ginza, a lively shopping street with cafés and local stores.

  1. Torigoe Shrine Grand Festival: Experience the Majestic Float Parade in Tokyo

Experience the grandeur of the Torigoe Shrine Grand Festival, one of Tokyo's most iconic summer celebrations. 

The event features the grand Senkan Mikoshi, a portable shrine weighing over 3,750 kg.


On Sunday, local neighborhoods carry the mikoshi in a ceremonial procession, led by performers in traditional attire.  As evening falls, the festival reaches its peak with the “Night Festival” procession, illuminated by lanterns and enveloped in a mystical atmosphere.

Experience authentic geisha culture for free in the heart of Asakusa! Watch seasonal dances, enjoy traditional party games, and take commemorative photos with geisha and male entertainers at the Asakusa Culture and Tourist Center.

Photo Opportunity
  • Commemorative photo with five geisha and male performers

  • Each photo includes two spectators at a time; open to all attendees.

How to Get a Ticket:

  • Tickets are distributed same-day only, starting at 10:00 AM on the 1st floor of the Asakusa Culture and Tourist Center

  • Only one ticket per person

  • Entry to the building begins at 9:50 AM

  • You may wait inside with one companion. Additional guests must wait outside and enter sequentially

  • One group may receive up to 10 tickets

  • First-come, first-served basis

Kagurazaka's cobbled lanes come alive with the energetic rhythms of Awa Odori, a traditional folk dance from Tokushima. Dozens of dance troupes (ren) perform choreographed routines in dazzling costumes to the sound of shamisen, taiko drums, and flutes.
